Sinful Saints News!
Press play to hear the Saints play some Saints: When the Saints Go Marching In!
The Sinful Saints Invited to Appear on National TV!
The Sinful Saints are one of the select few bands to be invited to perform in Downtown Chicago's Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade!
Are you ready for Chicago's Grand Holiday Tradition?
Santa Claus, Ronald McDonald and a cast of thousands bring you the 78th Anniversary of the McDonald's® Thanksgiving Parade, marching down State Street on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th. Whether you're moving your feet to the uplifting melodies of marching bands, gazing skyward at the gigantic inflatable helium balloons making their way down the street, or waving at talented entertainers in decorative floats dispensing holiday cheer, there is fun to be had by all at the biggest holiday parade in Chicago.
Church Services, Concerts and Parades!
Whew! - What a busy couple of months! The Saints once again played better than 2 dozen parades, concerts. festivals and church services in a short two months! Both of our Fire Trucks were busy - we had that third truck helping out as well - and we added a fourth!
Many thanks to the fine communities, businesses, churchs and individuals who helped bring the joy of Dixieland music to their towns! (And thanks to the many fine musicians who make up the Sinful Saints!)
2010 Parades!
The Sinful Saints were on parade this Summer 2010, playing more than 2 dozen parades, using 3 Fire Trucks, and over 20 musicians to keep that good ol' dixieland music in the hearts of people from Lake Bluff to Evergreen Park - and everywhere in between!
The Sinful Saints Add a Second Fire Truck!
The new truck ("Jelly Bean") is a 1978 Ford FMC. Tom picked this one up in late 2009 and the Saints are looking forward to having a second fire truck for parades. The older truck we've had for years ("Peanut Butter") - it's a 1959 Ford/Alexis Pumper. Now that we've got TWO - we can play more parades. It's not unusual for the Sinful Saints to play 2 or even 3 jobs simultaneously - we've got enough talented musicians to create at least 3 different bands!
Another Christmas in Wheaton!
The Rotary Club of Wheaton had us back again in 2009 - Merry Christmas!
It's the 2009 Parade Season!
The Saints played the Memorial Day Parade in Crystal Lake... and will be playing more parades in Harvard, Geneva, Evergreen Park, Warrenville, Highland Park, Deerfield, Northbrook, Barrington, Elmwood Park, Bartlett, Crystal Lake again and Algonquin - all before the end of July!
Merry Christmas From the Sinful Saints!
The Sinful Saints played the Rotary Club of Wheaton as they held their Christmas party and fundraising auctions on Dec 7.
